Gallien Responce

I think that Gallien saw how passionate Chris was to go out and live on his own for a while. He knew that even if he had called the police there was no way it would stop Chris from going. Of course he was worried and knew it was completely dangerous and insane, but I believe he respected Chris's determination. There for he helped as much as he could and then let Chris walk off into the wild.

    I agree, I think that your right that he respected Chris's determination and probably knew that calling the police would not stop Chris from what he wanted to do.

    I think you make a strong point, calling the police really does nothing to stop Chris, it would just delay the act of him going in to the forest.

    I agree, I as well think that Gallien saw Chris' passion and determination and did not want to hinder that, even if he tried nothing would have stopped him.
